Introduction
My teaching philosophy begins by a showing a genuine passion and interest of social science in my classroom. I want to share with my students how important it is to study social studies and what it is like to live in other countries. I want my classroom to be challenging, fun, and fair. I want to give my students a high quality education by using current, relevant, and real world examples and situations.
Some of the values that I try to bring to my classroom include accountability, integrity, compassion, and creative thinking. I will use a variety of instructional technology methods to capture student interest and engagement. Showing enthusiasm and incorporating technology is very important when engaging students. Exploring new techniques, developing interesting assignments, and challenging students to create innovative projects will develop their critical thinking skills. |
